Inspired by the visual language of a tennis court, the work reduces form to its essence: color, line, and space. A silver line frames a field of blue, creating a quiet tension between openness and enclosure, presence and perception.

The composition draws attention to the act of seeing itself. The geometric relationship between the silver leaf and the surrounding planes of blue suggests both a boundary and an invitation—a space defined not by limitation, but by awareness. As light moves across the surface, the reflective silver subtly shifts, revealing changing dimensions throughout the day.

Part of the Line Call series, the work reflects on the moments that shape our lives. A line call is a moment when truth is tested. In an instant, a decision is made—one that can alter the course of a match, revealing integrity, awareness, and acceptance of what is.

The series reflects how our lives are shaped by the accumulation of countless fleeting decisions. We often revisit the past, questioning whether a different choice might have led elsewhere. Yet those moments have already passed.

We live only in the present.

Rendered in silver leaf, the line shifts with changing light, reminding us that perception itself is never fixed. Its reflection becomes a quiet mirror, inviting us to consider how we see, how we choose, and how awareness shapes our experience of the present moment.
