Line Call
Line Call is a conceptual minimal painting series inspired by the single line drawn on a tennis court, rooted in Zen philosophy and informed by mindfulness practice. It reflects how our lives are shaped by the accumulation of countless fleeting decisions.
A line call is a moment when truth is tested.
An instant judgment can alter the outcome, revealing one’s integrity.
We often question whether those choices were right, wondering if another path was possible, carrying doubt or regret with us.
Yet those moments already belong to the past.
We live only in the present.
The simple lines, rendered in silver leaf, shift with the light, quietly revealing that the present moment is constantly changing.
Their reflection becomes a mirror turned inward — inviting us to ask whether our decisions are made with honesty and awareness.
