Created with sumi ink, water, and paper, the work emerged through a dialogue between intention and chance. Repeating geometric forms suggest a series of openings, passages, and quiet invitations. Some appear illuminated, while others remain obscured, reflecting the uncertainty that often accompanies change.

Rather than depicting a physical place, Threshold explores an inner landscape. It speaks to the courage required to step into the unknown, and the quiet awareness that transformation often begins long before we recognize it.

Inspired by Zen philosophy and the beauty of impermanence, the work invites contemplation of the thresholds we encounter throughout life — moments of choice, growth, loss, and renewal. Each doorway crossed reveals another, reminding us that becoming is an ongoing journey rather than a final destination.
