In the Between
Nothing lasts. Nothing is finished. Nothing is perfect.
And yet, here in this moment, everything is exactly as it should be.
In the Between is a series inspired by the space that exists between moments — before the beginning, after the ending, between the past and the future, between the sky and the water.
In each work, a small luminous vessel drifts across a vast expanse, neither arriving nor departing, simply present. It carries no destination, only the quiet movement of the journey itself. As a symbol of our own passage through life, the vessel reflects the fragile, ever-changing nature of existence.
Its light glimmers across the surface, suggesting that even within a still image, nothing is ever truly still. This moment, like every moment, is already becoming something else.
Each piece in the series is unique: different skies, different waters, different vessels, different light. No two moments are ever the same, and neither are we.
We all spend much of our lives in the between — suspended between what we know and what we cannot yet see, between who we were and who we are becoming.
It is a reminder to be here — in impermanence, in imperfection, in the between.
